Monarch has revealed that nearly all of its flights took off on time last week as it continues to deliver excellent customer service.
Only three per cent of Monarch flights took off more than an hour after their scheduled departure time, with 82 per cent taking off on time, the airline has confirmed.
While this is a five per cent decline from figures for flights from three weeks ago, it is further evidence that Monarch is working to ensure passengers get to their destinations, such as
Faro,
Malaga and
Rhodes, on time.
A recent report by the Air Transport Users Council (AUC) found that one in ten travellers experienced delays of more than an hour during the last summer holiday season.
This led the AUC to call on airlines and tour operators to do their best to improve their service for the 2007 summer season.
And with Monarch increasing its range of routes from the UK to key European tourist destinations, it will be hoping that its departure times remain high in the coming months.
