New hotel experience to open in Palma

Palma de Mallorca has been selected by a Spanish hotel chain as a place to test out what it calls a new concept of hostelling.

The Spanish hotel group Sol Melia is to launch a range of new "experience based personality" hotels in exclusive destinations such as Palma de Mallorca.

Aiming to satisfy the needs of guests who want not only comfort but also an individual experience, the hotels of the ME by Melia brand will feature all the latest luxuries that demanding travellers have come to expect as well as bringing in local flavour.

And by making one of its new hotels in Palma de Mallorca, Britons will find it easy to reach the unique experiences the ME brand has to offer.

There are regular cheap flights to Palma de Mallorca from the UK.

While the ME resorts can offer a complete experience, some travellers will choose to use to luxury as a pleasant base to return to as they set out across the island on adventures as car rental is easy to organise.
