First Choice Airways has operated the first ever chartered flight between Bristol and
Orlando Sanford, America.
The first flight touched down in the US on Sunday afternoon and opens up a new route to America for people living in the west of England.
Flights take off once a week on Sundays from Bristol Airport and land in Orlando Sanford later the same day.
However return flights, due to crossing time zones, take a little longer, with passengers leaving Orlando Sanford International Airport in the early evening and landing in the UK at around 08:00 GMT the next day.
First Choice Airways already operates flights to Orlando Sanford from East Midlands, Glasgow, Gatwick and Manchester airports, but the addition of a route from Bristol is great news for those outside of the UK's larger cities hoping to jet off to America.
Orlando Sanford International Airport is handily placed between some of the area's more popular tourist attractions and the world famous Daytona Beach, making it the perfect destination for jet setting Brits hoping to enjoy some US glitz and glamour.
