
This week Boeings new 787 Dreamliner visited Heathrow as part of a world tour to showcase the new aircraft to the world. Following many delays due to technical issues nine 787's are now in service with Japanese airlines and many more are due to come into service in the coming years.
The new aircraft offers passengers and airline bosses main benefits in efficiency and comfort, which has resulted in some significant orders from airlines; including BA, Virgin and Thomson.
The aircraft has a useful long range of 8500 nautical miles due to its efficiency and will be used to travel to destinations such as San Francisco, Shanghai, Singapore, Buenos Aires and Tokyo + many more.
