Whilst completing the construction of a pavement area in the popular holiday resort of Protaras in Eastern Cyprus Cypriot workers have accidentally unearthed four rare clay coffins estimated to be in the region of two thousand years old, reported the Director of Cyprus's Antiquities Department.

Cheap flights to Larnaca now operate in and out of the new Larnaca International Airport terminal building (Zenon) which has now become fully operational heralding the closure of the old terminal. All airlines have now transferred their operations to the new ultra modern terminal.
