Dalaman, TurkeyFigures released by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) shows that Newcastle International Airport claims the UK's best punctuality record for holiday charter flights, this is based on the latest figures available from the CAA records.
The CAA said that some 85% of all charter flights departed on time in the first quarter of 2009, which is above the national average.

Scheduled services from the North Easts largest airport also outperformed the national average, with 82% departing on time between January and March this year.
