Changes afoot in Tenerife
Tenerife is set to further strengthen its offering to tourists this year, with a number of changes set to take place on the island.One of the highlights of the year so far for active travellers has been the opening of the Marina de San Miguel by Amarilla Golf.
The marina offers 350 moorings of more than ten metres in size, is close to the golf course and only ten minutes from the Reina Sofia international airport.
Another exciting development on Tenerife this year will be the launch of Siam Park, the biggest water park in Europe, which is due to open in the spring.
This complex is set to have a Thai theme, with all of the buildings designed with an eastern feel and plants and water features positioned around the park to create an exotic atmosphere.
People on holiday in Tenerife this year should not have much trouble finding accommodation, with the Costa Los Gigantes hotel in Playa de la Arena beach, the Los Perales in Tacoronte and the Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque resort and spa all set to open.
