The Golden Orange Film Festival which this year represents the 47th consecutive year of screening will be officially opened on Saturday 8th October at a ceremony being held at the Glass Pyramid Sabancý Congress and Exhibition Centre in Antalya city. This year's program includes exhibitions, panels, conferences and conversations, as well as screening national and international films.
Prior to the official opening, an exhibition by writer and city historian from Antalya, Huseyin Çimrin, will take holiday makers, tourists and visitors on a tour through the history of the Golden Orange Film Festival. The exhibition, 'From Belkýs to olden Orange, A Birth Tale,' will also feature photographs and anecdotes from the festival over the years.
