## Directions
By car or taxi (there is not a direct public bus service to Playa
Blanca): exiting the airport, follow signs for the main highway to the
south (Carretera Circunvalación - Sur) towards the town of Yaiza . As
you approach Yaiza, follow the posted signs for Playa Blanca. Upon
entering Playa Blanca you will find a roundabout, go straight over this,
at the 2nd round about take the 3rd exit on your right. Go straight on
and you will find the complex 300 mts on your right hand side.

The Cay Sun Beach Aparthotel is in a peaceful area of Playa Blanca which
is the most recent development, with a beautiful new promenade around
the bay lined with bars and restaurants, on the southern tip of the
island. Playa Blanca beach and the resort centre are less than a mile
away. Playa Blanca is home to an attractive harbour with colourful
fishing boats and regular ferries, which will take you to the island of
Fuerteventura, clearly visible from the resort in 45 minutes. In the
surrounding area guests will find a selection of shops, bars and
restaurants, whilst local transport links make it easy for guests to
explore the island of Lanzarote. It is worth making a trip to the
popular beaches of Papagayo, 5 km away. The hotel is about 15 minutes
drive from the famous National Park of Timanfaya, the most interesting
place of the island.
